HF NFD 2015

Members of West Kent ARS participated in this years HF NFD, held over the weekend 6/7th of June. The event as usual ran for a 24hr period from 15.00 UTC on the Saturday.

Our operation this year was from a new site but also located in Matfield, and comprised of an Icom 7410 transceiver to a doublet aerial fed by ribbon cable with 100w power via an auto ATU.

All elements of the station worked well and the club was able to submit yet again an improved claimed score position over the results from last years operation.Currently the claimed score that the club has submitted for this years contest, the results show;QSOs excluding duplicates 632 (up 57% on 2014)

QSO rate 26.6 per hour (up 37% on 2014 counting only actual operating hours in 2014)
