Tonbridge Audio Jumble Report - Feb 14

The Audio Jumble held at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge on the 9th of February 2014, attracted many traders who appear to be regulars along with those attending who were looking for the bargains.

Members of West Kent ARS put on a display table, which along with some leaflets and other publicity to promote amateur radio, also displayed an FT817 and a Clansman 320 that drew the attention of many visitors, some of whom had used such equipment while serving in the forces.

Along with the many who stopped and talked about the display and amateur radio in general, 16 identified themselves as licensed most of whom were active to varying degrees. One person appeared inspired to finally contact Ofcom to get his licence after passing the City & Guilds exam many years ago, while for another we were able to advise on the process to revalidate his licence.
